Food aid for needy of Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
June 18, 2021When I began to raise funds in April for another round of food aid for the needy in Sabah, little did I know that a fire would break out in one the squatter villages where I occasionally organise food aid for.

17 families lost their homes and most of their belongings overnight on 21 Apr 2021. Thankfully, some NGOs and donors came to their aid and helped provide makeshift huts and tents along with daily necessities. Things have not been easy for them especially with the latest total lockdown beginning June.

Cordelia teamed up with Joy of SuperPact with Joy Method and Dr. Priya Rajan to conduct a 7-Days Heart Brain Coherence with Mindful Self Compassion Challenge and raised RM932.20. Separately, I was able to raise RM852. All in all RM1784.20 was raised.
We managed to get aid averaging RM105/family for each of the 17 families last week. Some of the relevant photos are posted here.
