This post has been long outstanding. During the second Movement Control Order (lockdown) in Malaysia, we arranged for rice to be delivered to 44 needy families in Sabah before Chinese New Year between 7 – 9 Feb 2021.
These are really poor families, many of whom are undocumented descendants of migrants living in self-built wooden houses like in the photo above.
At that time there were many who approached me for aid, but unfortunately, we could only afford 44 packs of rice, not even milk powder or condensed milk tins for babies.
Here are some photos of the recipients with the rice they received.
We’d like to thank everyone who donated to our social upliftment cause. All this is possible thanks to your contribution.
Here are some expression of their gratitude which also goes out to you all.
“That’s all. Thank you very much. May you be blessed with long life and good fortune”
”Thank you very much. May your blessings and good fortune grow more. Amen”
Thankfully, the lockdown has been loosened as Covid-19 cases drop across Malaysia so I’ve not been receiving as many requests for food aid as I used to. Hopefully, things will improve with time and life gets on back to normal.
Once again, thank you and blessings to you all.
